Not a fan of the cold, Ernie would fly to Florida every winter to visit her youngest son and his family. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards and traveling with her girlfriends, taking bus trips to various destinations. In the early 1970s, the couple purchased the Riggs Greenhouse in Wyoming, which they then operated as the Yerly Greenhouse, until Sub’s death in 2002. She married Sebastian Yerly and proudly raised two sons, John Sebastian and Alan Kent, while working in the accounting department for the Moews Seed Company. She attended Logan Grade School and Hall High School, where she was an honor-roll student and graduate.
